First Look: Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino’s Debut Book
Over the weekend Oprah Winfrey made her way to SoCal to pay an in-house visit with the Jackson family for a taped interview set to air on an upcoming episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Oprah chilled with the Jacksons on Saturday and TMZ managed to get their hands on photos snapped of the Big O‘s visit inside the home:
Oprah Winfrey’s production team moved into Katherine Jackson’s Encino, California, home Saturday to tape an interview with Michael Jackson’s mother, a source inside the home said. Winfrey was in the Jackson home to conduct the interview Saturday afternoon, according the source, who asked not to be identified because he was not authorized to speak to the media. Katherine Jackson has not given any interviews since her son’s death last year except for a paid interview for a documentary. Winfrey’s production company did not immediately respond to a CNN request for comment.
As you can see, Oprah met with matriarch Katherine Jackson and her estranged husband Joe Jackson … which seems odd to me considering that the couple have been separated for years and reportedly made the decision to divorce. You can also see that Katherine was pimpin’ out the book that she is selling in memory of her late son Michael Jackson. If memory serves, the Jacksons are also selling a limited edition line of commemorative belts in memory of the late MJ and I’ll bet those belts will show up in the Oprah interview as well. Because this is the first interview that Katherine has given since the interview she gave to The Daily Mirror back in June, I’m certain many will tune in to watch this ep of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Do y’all have any interesting in seeing this Jackson interview with Oprah Winfrey?

Les News, 100810
Back in June we learned about a one of a kind auction of previously unreleased photographs of Michael Jackson shot by photographer Arno Bani. As the auction date draws nearer, we get to check out another of the famed photos of the late King of Pop that will go on the auction block in December:
The photo above is titled The Spinx and it will be included in the auction being orchestrated by Pierre Bergé & Associés in early December. Now, in case you’re interested in placing your bid for these in-demand photographs you might want to check out The Spinx from the front, right? After the jump, check it out …
I fully expect that these photos will be sold for a very pretty penny … so start saving now! Even if you’re not planning to place a bid to own these photos … what do you think of them? I much prefer this photo to the one we saw last June. Do you like The Sphinx?

Cher Lloyd Caught In Some Foolish Lies!
Is she serious?!
Check out this video (above) that calls out X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd on lying about writing her own lyrics to tracks that she's performed during the competition!
What was she thinking??
Joseph Gordon-Levitt had created an event that looked unique and potentially awesome for his fans.
Understandably, after JGL's recent tragedy in his family, he's chosen to cancel the event.
Here's a statement JGL posted on hitrecord.org:
Ladies and Gentlemen,I have some regrettable news regarding the FALL FORMAL. As you might know, these past two weeks have been the worst of my life. To those contributing tribute RECords re: my brother dan, you have my deepest gratitude.
I’m eager to get back to work, but I also feel like I’ve just had an arm chopped off and so I’m finding myself less than capable these days.
I’ve considered various possibilities on how to make the show happen another way – the Town Hall Theater has been so accommodating in figuring this out with us. But in the end, I just don’t feel up to it right now and have decided to cancel the show.
If it’s any consolation, we hitRECorders can take heart in knowing that our production was on-track to selling all 1500 tickets – a victory in itself well worthy of ice cream.
Chin up, there’s still much to do and a bright future ahead.
Thanks again…
<3 JPS. Ticketmaster will send an automatic notice to email and phone purchasers. A notification message that their creditcard accounts will be credited with a full refund. It takes about, 48 hours to show up on most credit-card statements. You can call ticketmaster at 800-982-2787 for more information.
It's an unfortunate situation, but we think you handled it well, JGL. You were upfront and honest with your fans, and you've promised them all full refunds. What else could you do?
Stay strong, JGL! Our thoughts are with you and your family during this rough time.
